Summary
Software engineer with six years in banking, building the backend systems behind financial services for Indonesia’s underserved communities. Two years developing Java and Spring Boot microservices for customer pre-acquisition at BTPN Syariah, then two years building the test automation framework for those same systems — an unusual combination that shapes how I design for correctness. Also ship my own products: a Go and React point of sale system, and a live career-preparation platform with AI-assisted CV analysis.

- Own mobile test automation in Katalon Studio for PREACQ, the bank’s field-officer Android application, covering the customer pre-acquisition modules SDA, MU, SV, and SPS
- Designed and built the suite’s negative-scenario coverage from scratch — a new initiative validating error handling and field validation, including scroll-aware assertions that Appium’s viewport constraints make non-trivial
- Implemented the SQM team’s shared automation framework within the PREACQ project: migrated locator-based tests to a Page Object Model with reusable business flows, and adopted the Groovy retry-and-recovery action layer to cut flaky failures
- Integrated the PREACQ suite with TestRail over its REST API, so execution results and screenshot evidence publish automatically after every run
- Verify behaviour at UI, REST API, and SQL Server database level, including offline-first scenarios — draft retention and sync-on-reconnect for field officers working without connectivity
- Analyse defects down to code level, drawing on prior experience as the backend engineer for these same services
- Ran manual release regression across 10 release cycles for PREACQ and Account Maintenance on an Android 10–14 device matrix, tracked in TestRail — including 318 test cases on Android 13 in release cycle 2.9.6
- Continued to contribute Java and Spring Boot code alongside QA responsibilities

- Built and maintained three of the eight microservices in the customer pre-acquisition domain, using Java and Spring Boot:
- preacq-sda — field surveys mapping pre-prosperous households in a region, used by officers to assess community need
- preacq-mu — monitoring how financed customers use their capital: business type, disbursement usage, income verification, ownership
- preacq-sv — unannounced compliance visits verifying that disbursement reached the customer correctly and field SOPs were followed
- Implemented event-driven integration across banking services with Apache Kafka
- Designed and optimised PostgreSQL and SQL Server schemas and queries
- Worked in an agile squad of ten engineers

KALA POS — Full-stack point of sale system (personal project)
Go (Fiber) REST API and an installable React PWA that queues sales offline in IndexedDB and syncs on reconnect. Clean layered architecture with an internal event bus; cancellations and returns reverse both stock and cash flow automatically. Covered by Go unit tests, Vitest, and 28 Playwright end-to-end tests, with a one-command Docker setup. Currently being packaged for sale as source code.
